Google Pixel and Pixel XL Smartphones get VoLTE support for Reliance Jio

The flagship models from GooglePixel and Pixel XL lacked the VoLTE support, so Google has taken the initiative and pushed the Android 7.1.1 Nougat update to both the devices along with the compatible Nexus devices. This update will bring the VoLTE support on these handsets which were launched in India with Android 7.1 Nougat. This means, the users from India can now have support for volte for Reliance Jio and enjoy the services.


The VoLTE services can be enabled from the Enhanced 4G LTE Mode from the network settings, and the symbol HD indicates that VoLTE is enabled. Now the users of Pixel and Pixel XL can access VoLTE services across the Globe. Apart from this, the new update will also bring new emoji that reflect the pivotal roles women in the world, an option to send GIFs from the keyboard on supported applications.

Coming to the Pixel and Pixel XL, both the devices come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. The Pixel sports a 5-inch display while the Pixel XL comes with a bigger 5.5-inch display. Both the handsets feature a 12MP camera on the rear as well as 8MP camera on the front. These devices are IP53 rated and also has the fingerprint sensor to enhance the security levels.
The Pixel and Pixel XL will come in 32GB as well as 128GB storage options and will be powered by a 2,770mAh battery and 3,450mAh battery respectively. Both of them support fast charging technology and are available in Black, Silver, and Blue color variants. These devices came out of the box with Android Nougat 7.0 and got the latest update for fixing the bugs.
