Indian smartphone company Micromax has collaborated with telecom operator Airtel to re-launch its five-year old Canvas 2  smartphone. The new Canvas 2 comes pre-bundled with Airtel 4G SIM which offers one year of free 4G data and calling to any network in India for 1 year.
The company claims that Canvas 2 is the first smartphone in its price segment with a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Micromax aims to give consumers a device with incredible user experience, great specs and other desirable features. Micromax expects to further consolidate its stronghold in the market as it aims to sell more than 1 million Canvas 2 smartphones in India and in other markets that it operates.
The new smartphone also comes with 1 Year of screen replacement promise which is applicable from the date of activation and is valid for 1 screen replacement. Users will also get 400 minutes calling free per day with a cap of 1500 minutes per week. The smartphone will be vaible for buy form May 15, 2015 on Micromax's official website and across the leading retail mobile stores in India.

We expect Canvas 2 to yet again set a bench mark and revolutionize the overall smartphone adoption."
The new Canvas 2 comes with a 360-degree identification fingerprint sensor and is powered by powered by a Quad-core 1.3GHz processor. The smartphone comes with 3GB RAM and an expandable memory of 16GB internals tare which is expandable up to 64GB.  The device runs the latest Android Nougat aka Android 7. The new Canvas 2 comes with a strong 3050 mAh battery which claims to last upto 11 hours.
The smartphone sports a 13MP rear camera with flash and different modes such as Bokeh, Panorama and HDR. At the front lies a 5 MP selfie camera with wide angle lens that consists of F.20 Aperture, auto focus and 5P Lens.
