LG is expected to launch a new smartphone in the popular V series, the V30. As of now, we have seen a lot of rumors regarding the launch and the availability of this smartphone, however, now a source has confirmed that the smartphone will be launching on August 31st at IFA Berlin and it will be available to purchase starting September 15 in South Korea. Following the availability in South Korea, the device will be available in other markets like the U.S; Europe, etc.
As far as the other markets are concerned, we only have info regarding its launch in the U.S. market. The smartphone will be available to pre-order in the U.S. starting September 17 and it will go on sale on September 28 in the U.S. However, we don’t have an exact of the launch of the same in other markets like the Europe, etc. But it has been reported that the device will have a global launch on September 28, suggesting that interested people won’t have to wait for a long time.
Now, talking about the specs of this smartphone, it is expected that it will give a tough competition to Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8 which is also scheduled to launch in the month of August. It looks like the LG V30 will sport a 6-inch display on the front which will stretch across the front, eliminating the secondary display. This display will have the same resolution and aspect ratio as that of the LG G6. Internally, the V30 is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC which is something that the LG G6 missed out on.

Rumors suggest that it will pack only 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. However, it is unclear if it will be the only configuration which will be offered. In terms of the camera as well, we can expect the same dual camera technology which LG is quite popularly known for. Other specs include a powerful battery and dedicated DAC. Having said that, we hope this will make its way to India, in or around the same time and hopefully, LG will get the pricing right this time around.
