Beautiful Design

There have been a few slight changes to the design of the Q60. Not that it wasn't appealing before, but the current Q60 is especially a beauty. There are standard LED eye-inspired headlights, LED fog lights, heated mirrors -- you even get standard 19-inch alloys. Move on to the rear and you'll see it finishes clean, with sharp exhausts and taillights closing out the tail. Infiniti designers did a great job all the way around.

Two Touchscreens

Up front in the cabin, you get not one but two sizable touchscreens. There's an 8- and a 7-in screen. You do need to play with them both separately to figure out which one does what. The system the Q60 uses is called Infiniti InTouch. Once you connect your compatible smartphone to this system, you can do all sorts of stuff that allows you to focus where you should: on the road ahead.

Great Handling

The Q60 Red Sport trim level we drove exuded tons of confidence with its 400 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque. Curves and tight corners are a walk in the park. An added bonus is the smooth power the 7-speed automatic transmission delivers when you step on the gas. The available all-wheel drive can be had on either of the three engine options.

Tons of Features

We do have to say, the Q60 is pretty loaded-up in base form, with dual-zone climate control, 8-way power front seats and much more. Of course, you can opt for a beautiful sunroof, even some great sound from a 13-speaker Bose system. The top trim levels have the Technology package option, which includes some innovative safety features.

Engine Choices

The Q60 offers three engine choices, all of which are powerful and fun-to-drive. Kicking things off is the 208-hp 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder. Your middle man is a 3.0-liter V6 good for 300 hp. We had the top engine, the Red Sport 400, which is good for exactly that, a whopping 400 hp -- and it's certainly a fun drive. On the highway, the Q60 returns 28 miles per gallon with the base 4-cylinder engine in all-wheel-drive form and 26 mpg hwy with the all-wheel-drive Red Sport trim level.
